This article explains possible reasons for users not getting activities or courses marked as completed.
Class Progress Shows Incomplete or 0%
- It's important for users to scroll down to the end of the last page in the course, and click on Exit Lesson (instead of simply closing the window) after finishing all of the sections. This will ensure our software recognizes completion and updates the progress to 100% on the user's profile.
- The class progress on the user's profile tracks completion of steps. If all of the sections of a course are contained inside a single step, our platform will show either 0% (incomplete) or 100% (complete) progress in this case.
Common Reasons for Users Not Getting Courses Marked as Completed
- Skipped one or more activities by accident
- Didn't view the entirety of one or more pages in the course
- Didn't achieve the minimum passing score on an assessment
- Didn't watch one or more videos in full, or watched them but skipped forward
- Closed the browser window instead of clicking on the Exit button at the top of the screen
Helpful Hint for Admins, Instructors, & Managers

- Choose the appropriate group, in which the class is located
- Navigate to Reports > Custom Reports
- Select Group Reports and Class Progress Detail
- Locate the appropriate course
- Click on a user to see their progress
