Introduction
The Send Emails page enables users to create email templates and send messages to the entire site, specific groups, or individual classes, depending on their permissions.
To access this page, open your LMS Site and click Admin (Manage) > Send Emails.
Permissions
Admin and User Admin are the two roles that have permission to access Send Emails and Email Reports.

Send Emails
The main features of the Send Emails tab:
- The Email Queue displays all scheduled emails. You can search and filter this list. Once an email is sent, it will be removed from the list.
- Emails are queued and will wait to be sent, typically within approximately 4 minutes of being initiated. You can cancel an email while it is still in the queue.
- The New Email button will redirect you to the Send Emails page, where you can select recipients and compose your message.
Email Setup
The main features of the Email Setup tab:
- Shows all emails that are created for the site. Emails are filtered based on permission. The list can be searched and filtered.
- The New Message button allows users to create email messages to be used in the Send Emails tab.
Email Templates
An email template is a pre-designed, reusable email layout that saves time and ensures consistency.
The main features of the Email Templates tab:
Shows all the templates (container with header and footer) that are created for the site. The list can be searched and filtered.
