The Course Builder allows users to create courses for learner consumption. The main features of the Course Builder are:
- Creation of courses
- Testing of courses prior to publishing
- Versioning of courses to allow multiple iterations of a course
- Copying courses
Activity Types:
Forms: Forms are used to gather feedback from your learners. There are three types within Course Builder: Form, Survey, and Evaluation.
- Form: Used to collect individualized data connected to learner accounts as part of a course activity. Forms are not anonymous.

- Survey: Designed to capture anonymous feedback as part of a course activity. Surveys are anonymous.

- Evaluation: Enables administrators, supervisors, and instructors to assess learner performance and provide feedback. Only available through workflows*
View Content: This activity allows learners to engage with various types of media. You can upload images, videos (the maximum video file size for upload is 500 MB), or HTML content to display within your course.
Journal: Journals enable learners to document their thoughts, take notes, or respond to reflective questions. Each journal entry remains private, accessible only to the individual learner; no other learners or administrators can view them.
Collaboration: Collaborations serve as conversation threads where learners can share their insights with one another. These discussions can take place as activities within a course or be initiated within a group or class. Instructors or administrators can start these threads, and any user within the class or group can contribute responses.
Page Builder: Page Builder is our course authoring tool designed to facilitate the creation of seamless, responsive, scrolling content. The tool enables users to easily create, edit, and manage text, images, videos, audio all within customizable layouts. The integrated AI feature assists users in generating course content, that they can build from.
Assessment Builder: Enables the creation of multiple-choice questions designed to evaluate a learner's knowledge or skills. These assessments can be configured as either scored or unscored, providing flexibility in measuring learner performance.
Scorm Lesson: This allows you to upload lessons made with external course authoring tools.
Existing Lesson: Authoring tool, the previous version of Page Builder.
Simulation Builder: Internal authoring tool enables you to create interactions and gamification.
Upload Requirement: Allows learners to submit various types of media. Users can upload documents, video or audio.
Upload Approval: Allows learners to submit various types of media for review and feedback. Users can upload documents, video or audio. Only available through workflows*
View Course (nested courses): Nest an existing course within another course. Only available through workflows*
View Live Class: This activity is designed for hybrid classes, when a group is meeting in person or through a webinar link. The activity pulls specific details provided in the class setup. The administrator or instructor tracks attendance for learners to receive credit for participation.
View Certification: When a user completes a course, they can see their earned certificate. This must be in it’s own separate step.
